Education is indispensable for gaining a firm position in society. Without knowledge or diploma young people hardly stand a chance to find a job. Premature dropouts constitute an unacceptable social problem. That is why Scoring for the community aims many activities at creating opportunities for education and work for both young and old. These activities are focused on doing away with language deficiencies amongst primary school pupils, support for people who have finished school, and help in finding (un)paid jobs. Local businesses, part of the FC Twente network, take an active position when it comes to realizing these goals.
