The 'Scoring with the neighbours' project is aimed at bringing people − especially inhabitants of housing and welfare centres − closer to their fellow neighbourhood inhabitants. This was done by means of a guided trip to De Grolsch Veste stadium. The only condition was for the participants to bring at least one fellow neighbourhood inhabitant. All participants were collected by the drivers of the FC Twente Football Academy.
